First of all, Welcome to our website! TriCitySportsComplex.com is owned and operated by Tri-City Sports Complex (Henceforth referred to as TCSC). We realize you have concerns about privacy, and we want to not only address them, but ensure you that TCSC takes this subject seriously. That said, the following notice is intended to explain TCSC's practices regarding your privacy and how it relates to us and third-party members. We reserve the right to revise this policy without prior notice. That said, any updates to our privacy policy will be mentioned in a public manner. Furthermore, the changes made will not be drastic by any sense of the term.

As there are two different capacities in which this site can be used, the following topics will apply uniquely to each group of users. From here on out, the different groups will be defined as follows:

  • Registered Users:

    These are people who have manually filled out the registration form, found here. Throughout the rest of this document, this group will be referred to as "Registered Users" and/or "Members." Our facility management software (used for scheduling, billing, payroll, and more) handles the log-in aspect of our website, so members should familiarize themselves with the privacy policy of Sports-It, the company that handles this.     Casual Viewers:

    These are people who have not completed the registration process. This would include (but is not limited to) people checking out the site for casual information, people directed here from other sites (such as Facebook, Twitter, our Media company's site, etc), people who like to Google random words, etc. From here on out, this group will be referred to as "Viewers."

  • 1) What type of Information do we collect?

    Members: Upon signing up, all of the information actively provided (via keyboard and mouse) will be held in our database. This includes name, email address, mailing address, phone numbers, and credit card information.
    Viewers: This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.     Cookies are tiny files that almost every website passes on to a user’s computer. This is done at their discretion and can be modified by you, the viewer / member at any time.   • 2) What do you use this information for?

    Collection of your information makes it easy for us to maintain necessary complex procedures. Essentially, we have three main reasons for collecting this information:
    • Personalization. We aim to make this online experience as enjoyable and customized as we can.
    • Billing. League membership is not free. Prices vary depending on the sport, but you will ALWAYS be notified before we bill you.
    • Notifications. For instance, if severe weather compromises TCSC’s operating hours, we may need to notify you. We also collect your email address, which may be used in our email campaigns; we periodically send mailings out to notify you of deals, holiday hours, league information, etc. Parts of this service (promotional, etc) can be opted out of if requested.

  • 3) How secure is this site?

    Our server is very secure; we utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypt your information so that ONLY those who NEED to see it can access it.

  • 4) How long do you hold on to this information for?

    As a member, we keep all of your information in our secure database until you deactivate your account.

  • 5) What about minors? Any special precautions?

    Minors are ineligible for membership. One of our stipulations is that registered users must be of 18 years of age. That said, we make sure everything on our site is acceptable for our younger viewers.

  • 6) Third Party links:

    If TCSC decides to advertise third parties on our site, we ideally work with reputable companies that share our value on privacy. That said, following links to these companies and organizations will bring you to their site, which may have their own privacy policy in place. We do welcome criticism and feedback on any of these companies and our advertisement policy.
